This is the outer hood skin only, with the 1974–1998 Porsche 911 short-hood profile. GT Racing part 24A uses a resin-infused, vacuum-bagged composite construction and averages 6 lb.

For race use with hood pins

The skin is designed for hood-pin attachments, not the stock struts or latch. See the separate 26A hood/deck-lid pins. The supplier lists fender parts 30, 30B, 30C and 30W as matching bodywork.

Keeping the original hinge and latch setup?

Choose the part 24 framed short hood as the comparison. That is a different assembly from this race-only outer skin.
