Collection: 1965–1968 SWB Porsche 911 parts

The 1965–1968 short-wheelbase 911 needs its own starting point. An early longhood shape does not make every later RS or RSR panel a straightforward fit, particularly at the rear of the car. This selection starts with SWB bodywork and separates larger conversions from the original narrow profile.

A narrow 911R-style front end

The 911R front-fender pair has the narrow, unflared profile and matches the 911R front bumper. The fenders do not have a stock fuel-filler bucket, so settle the filler arrangement before choosing them.

The early long hood uses the early hinge and latch arrangement. A later-donor conversion hood is a different part, even if the outside looks similar.

Keep the rear end SWB-specific

The 911R rear bumper is specified for 1965–1968 short-wheelbase cars. Match it to the rear bodywork you intend to retain or build; a shared R-style name does not make a later rear bumper interchangeable.

R-style lighting needs a separate check

The 911R rear-light housings use the later long-wheelbase bucket arrangement. A stock SWB car needs its light buckets modified to accept them. Housings, lights and wiring are separate parts of the job.

Planning more than replacement panels?

Wider RS/ST/RSR bodywork can be part of an SWB project, but it calls for a coordinated conversion, not a blanket year match. Decide on the front and rear profiles with your body shop before ordering a panel set.

For cabin and window changes, browse the door range or read the soft-window Targa guide if that is your starting car. Check the actual body style and window arrangement for each part.
