Collection: 1974–1989 Porsche 911 G-body parts

The G-body years cover original narrow cars, SC and Carrera models, and Turbo-width builds. Previous flare, bumper or engine changes matter as much as the badge. Use the current front and rear profiles to choose parts, then check the individual year and mounting notes.

Stock, IROC and Turbo-width front ends

Keeping the original front bumper

The stock-width front valance sits below the original G-body bumper. It is a lower panel, not a complete bumper replacement. Turbo bodywork uses a different shape: compare the Turbo-width lower spoiler only if the original Turbo bumper and matching front profile are in place.

Choosing an IROC-style front end

Choose the cooler opening, lights and brake-duct layout as part of the bumper installation. Front and rear body widths are separate decisions.

Ducktail, whale tail or a larger wing?

The G-body spoiler and decklid selection separates inserts that keep the existing lid from complete replacement lids. It also flags whale-tail listings that still need a year-specific installation check.

Turning a short hood into a longhood

A backdate changes the surrounding bodywork as well as the hood. Follow the longhood backdate guide for the later-latch hood, matching fenders, bumpers and rear-quarter choices. The kit and individual panels are alternative ways to assemble the project—not a list of parts to buy twice.

If your car is a 1989 model, identify whether it is a G-body or 964 before using a generation filter. For the later platform, see 964 parts.
