Collection: Porsche 993 race and lightweight parts

The 993 selection here is mainly lightweight panels, race-door systems, glazing and interior parts shared across the air-cooled 911 platform. It is not a complete 993 bumper, fender or widebody-kit range. Choose by the original components you are retaining and the work planned for the car.

Hood and door choices

The framed short hood is the short-hood-profile option with provision for the existing hinges and latch. Keep it separate from the longhood conversion panels elsewhere in the catalog.

  • Stock-layout replacement doors: designed to accept compatible original inner trim, window frames and windows.
  • EVO doors: a different door system with supplied frames and mirror housings; mirrors, hardware and the window arrangement need separate attention.
  • Open-backed race doors: no provision for window frames. Plan the hinges, latches and door-bar arrangement before fitting.

Match the window frame

The closed-louver quarter-window pair gives an R-style appearance in the documented original-frame arrangement. The NACA-duct quarter windows use original fixed frames and accept 3-inch hose. Neither name is enough to identify a modified window opening; check the frame actually on the car.

Interior and roof work

The replacement dashboard top needs its openings prepared for the installation. The fixed sunroof-delete panel closes the original motorized opening rather than restoring an operating sunroof. Roof and dashboard changes need a considered installation plan, not just a matching model year.

A GT2-style wing is a separate system

The Evo 2-style banana wing has a documented GT2 wing-support application. It is a blade, not a complete tail conversion for any 993. Check the uprights and mounting arrangement before choosing it.

For planning beyond individual panels, read the classic 911 race and outlaw guide. Door or panel styling does not establish road-use suitability or competition certification.
