An RSR-style backdate panel package for a G-body or 964, using a longhood conversion panel with the later latch position. An RS ducktail is included; the IROC whale tail in the supplier’s example photos is not.
What's in the kit
- RSR front bumper, part 4, and steel front grille, part 8.
- Long/short conversion hood, part 21SL.
- RS ducktail, part 14.
- RSR/ST front fenders: driver side with fuel-filler bucket and passenger side, part 27.
- Left and right 11-inch Turbo rear quarter panels, part 35-T11.
- RSR rear bumper, part 2.
Choosing and fitting the package
Starting with a 1973-or-earlier car? Choose the early-car RSR kit instead. Windows, doors, mirrors, interior parts, and exhaust are separate from this panel package.
Work through the wheel clearances, panel mounting, lights, and trim with your body shop before ordering. Test-fit the complete panel set before paint.
For a 1994 car, confirm the generation and supplied tail before ordering: the kit is listed through 1994, but the ducktail’s published application ends in 1993. This is not a complete 993 conversion kit. A 964 installation also needs the correct hinge adapters.

Fitment and installation
1974–1989 G-body 911
Listed years: 1974–1989
Modifications or fabrication are required.
Your car will need:
- Full coordinated long-hood backdate
- Later donor latch retained
- Includes the 21SL conversion hood, 27 front fenders, 35-T11 quarters, 4/2 bumpers, 8 front grille and 14 ducktail.
- The ducktail needs a suitable SC/Carrera-style plastic engine grille, reused or supplied separately. The included part 8 grille is for the front bumper, not the engine lid.
- The listed package uses the 21SL hood and a driver fender with a stock-location filler bucket. Confirm any different hood or filler arrangement before ordering; alternative supplied configurations are not established here.
- Plan the light, trim, mounting and wheel-clearance work with the body shop.
Porsche 964
Listed years: 1989–1993
Modifications or fabrication are required.
Your car will need:
- Full coordinated long-hood backdate
- Later donor latch retained
- Original tubular 964 deck-lid hinges
- Kit contents list a ducktail, not an IROC whale tail.
- The ducktail needs a suitable SC/Carrera-style plastic engine grille, reused or supplied separately. The included part 8 grille is for the front bumper, not the engine lid.
- The listed package uses the 21SL hood and a driver fender with a stock-location filler bucket. Confirm any different hood or filler arrangement before ordering; alternative supplied configurations are not established here.
- The supplier's kit title extends to 1994, but its included ducktail is documented through 1993. A 1994 964 application must be confirmed before ordering.
- Confirm whether the 964 hinge adapters are supplied separately before ordering; they are not listed in the kit contents.
Parts you may need separately
- 911 (964) Hinge Adaptors — The included early-style ducktail uses adapters with the 964 tubular hinge arrangement; confirm whether supplied with the kit.
Will it fit my setup?
- Not a 993 conversion kit.
- Windows, doors, mirrors, interior and exhaust are not part of the listed panel package.
