Collection: Porsche 964 spoilers and decklids

There are two main choices for a 964: add an insert to the existing decklid, or replace the whole lid. They use different mounting arrangements. Check what is on the car now, especially if a previous owner has changed the rear bodywork.

Keeping a standard C2/C4 decklid?

The RS America-style C2/C4 wing insert fits the standard 964 lid. It does not fit the factory RS America stock lid. It is also different from the insert made for an earlier 911 lid.

Changing the complete lid

The RS-style ducktail, whale tail, IROC whale tail, 930 Turbo tea tray and GT3-style base use the earlier decklid pattern. On the documented 964 tubular-hinge installation, they need the separate hinge-adapter pair.

Grilles are a separate choice too. The ducktail and GT3-style base use an SC/Carrera-style plastic grille. The standard and IROC whale tails have a different small recess for the billet grille. Read the individual listing for what is included.

Choose the tail package, not just its name

Where a listing asks for 911 or 964, specify 964 before ordering. A page covering the 964 generation does not extend a part's stated 1993 cutoff to a 1994 car.
